This Is Our Story

Our story began many years ago when Marcelo Wollerman, journalist born in Chile, living for 33 years in Brazil and married to a sommelier, travels the world of wine visiting Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Argentina and Chile and opens his bistro and a wine store in Sao Paulo. After 10 years he decides to pack his bags once again and settle in Mendoza, Argentina. His goal was clear, bring all his friends from Brazil to travel the growing and amusing wine country region of Mendoza.
At the time, Cristian Centurion, who lived in Cordoba, Argentina was seeing how his Wine Consulting Business was growing at exponential rates with many Argentinian wineries adding to his portfolio. 20 years building sales teams and 12 years of business with amazing wineries hit a crossing road with Marcelo's path and Wolcen Viajes started bringing the first brazilian visitors into an immersive Mendoza experience where passengers not only could enjoy wineries and great wine but also the magic of the Andes. After a couple of very busy seasons and new visitors from different latin american countries, the expansion plan started by laying eyes on Chile as a new destination.
In one of Marcelo's trips to Chile with a group, he met Carlos Ocampo, who had been working in the tourism industry for over 16 years and was at the time in charge of the sales and marketing area of a prestigious winery in the Casablanca Valley. Some months later, Marcelo and Cristian travel to Chile and get together with Carlos and set what would be the building blocks of Wine Andes Travel. A sister company of Wolcen Viajes in charge of keeping up with the expansion of the brand now into the US and North American market.
